Paper Towns is the third young adult novel by John Green, published on October 16, 2008. It debuted at number 5 on the New York Times bestseller list for children's books and was awarded the 2009 Edgar Award for best young-adult novel.
The story is set in Orlando and is about a boy named Quentin Jacobsen, who has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman. After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Quentin arrives at school to discover that Margo has mysteriously disappeared. But Quentin soon learns that there are clues–and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Quentin sees of the girl he thought he knew.
